Hidden just below the main house, steps from the Emory River, the Lake Street Lounge has been our family's gathering place for friends, good music, cold drinks, and long nights of conversation.

It started simply — a bar, a few stools, and a view of the water. Over the years it grew into something of a neighborhood institution. We're not really a lounge in the formal sense. It's more of a living room that got out of hand.

Step outside and the river does the talking. Great blue herons wade the shallows at dusk. White-tailed deer pick their way along the water's edge in the early morning quiet. The Emory moves slow and steady here, and if you let it, so will you.

Harriman, Tennessee sits at the confluence of the Emory and Clinch rivers, surrounded by the rolling hills of East Tennessee. We couldn't think of a better place to raise a glass with the people we love.
